Tranformational Resources

I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect.”  Romans 12:1-2

A number of workshops and teaching pieces are available.  One of the convictions of this ministry is that one size does not fit all.  We are convinced and convicted that each church is unique in its own right, and the Office of New Church Development and Transformation will work with each individual congregation to help devise a plan that will help it move from where it is today to a ministry that is transformed for the work of making disciples of Jesus Christ and advancing the kingdom of God.

The following resources are available to assist in the transformation process for congregations of all sizes and typologies.

1. Church Transformation Workbook:  A manual for transforming existing congregations into communities of faith who reach out with love and hope offering Christ to all.

2. Transformation workshop designed for specifically for your church.  (The Office of New Church Development and Transformation)

3. Welcoming Congregations – Igniting Ministries (The office of Communications)

4. Holy Boldness:  National Urban Academy (sponsored by The Office of New Church Development and Transformation.  Dates:  Sept. 28-30, 2007, Jan. 18-20, 2008, Mar 28-30, 2008)
